The set is complete with original props and details from the movie. It was disassembled post-production so that it could be transported and reconstructed in its final resting place at Universal Studios Hollywood. The set was created by Production Designer Ruth DeJong. The theme park becomes a significant location as the characters “investigate mysterious, unexplained phenomena, leading them toward increasing danger and terrifying consequences.” In the movie it is owned by former child star, Ricky “Jupe” Park. The fictional Jupiter’s Claim is a family theme park based on the California Gold Rush. It will become a permanent attraction from July 22, which coincides with the theatrical release of the movie. The original Jupiter’s Claim set from Jordan Peele’s upcoming horror movie, Nope, will be featured as part of the world-famous Studio Tour at Universal Studios Hollywood.
